As with any developing retail organisation, there are a number of business protocols that franchise owners are expected to adhere to in the interests of fair trading between territories and maintaining the brand’s credibility.

For example, to enable franchise owners to trade exclusively in their own agreed postcode territories, we actively discourage encroachment by neighbouring franchisees through cross-territory advertising and undertaking installations in other areas, unless by prior agreement.

Similarly, as we are a national brand and our marketing claims are scrutinised by advertising standards bodies, we require franchisees to use only approved Granite Transformations’ advertisement formats, not make misleading product claims and to adhere to nationally-agreed sales periods.
