This is the premium franchise model and involves operating both high street retail premises and a nearby fabrication workshop or both in a light industrial unit. The Franchise Owner assumes responsibility for local worktop manufacturing, in addition to sales, templating and installation. It entails investing in a factory unit and fabrication equipment, in addition to showroom and storage facilities, and recruiting staff to operate the workshop. The manufacturing side opens up substantial extra revenue and profit potential, through ensuring more money from routine installations and opportunities for lucrative commercial fabrication jobs. As a focal point for customer enquiries and a draw for passing trade, the Franchise Owner will be expected to invest in suitable retail premises, either on the high street or in a recognised shopping area, and staff this for at least five trading days per week.



Fees are subject to VAT at the current rate, although this element can be reclaimed if the business is VAT registered.
