Andrea Di Giuseppe, CEO of the global Trend Group, and his wife Federica Bisazza, Head of Artistic Development, recently confirmed their love for the company’s elegant surface finishes, by showcasing them in their luxury apartment in Miami, Florida. The result is a gracious residence with unmistakeable flair, transporting Trend’s quality and style from Vicenza, Italy, to the heart of Miami in South Beach’s residential skyscraper, Portofino Tower.
Such was the interest in this remodelling project, that local TV station CBS Miami chose to interview Andrea in his own home, where he extolled the virtues of Trend’s Italian-heritage glass mosaic and superb agglomerate finishes. Streaming live on the CBS website, the ‘Living Large’ video features extensive filming around the apartment, footage from the manufacturing plant in Sebring and the interview with Andrea, in which he outlines the particular attributes of the Trend materials and the ‘fitted in one day’ concept. As an exercise in positive publicity, it is highly effective and can be viewed by either clicking here. or below (Please note a local advertisement will appear first).
Andrea and Federica’s home features the refined elegance of various Trend materials, in designs that reflect the move towards textured, hard surface finishes in the interior designer’s palette. In a celebration of colour and mosaic art, the extensive hallway displays a large decorative work in Trend’s Venetian glass tesserae, entitled Poppies, depicting large, vibrant red flowers.
Across in the master bathroom, the walls are covered with Metropolis designer tiles in an Opal colourway, while the shower is lined with black Brillante 1 x 1cm micro tiles. The smaller ensuite bathroom within the second bedroom uses sparkling Liberty Bronzite mosaic, offset by Polar White agglomerate for the countertops and hard flooring. Finally, the guest bathroom is clad with a rich mosaic of reflective Brillante tiles, at one point surrounding an innovative tap module that descends from above.
Elsewhere, in the living room, office, kitchen and hallways, Trend agglomerate floor tiles and worktops, again in Polar Ice, create a subtle backdrop for bold designer furniture, at the same time resisting abrasion, regular footfall and cleaning agents. It all adds up to an interior style that perfectly displays both the practical and decorative qualities of Trend’s gorgeous products.
